Reason# 2
​Low Living standard in poor countries caused kids to work to help their family to make more money. Poor countries around the world with low Gross Domestic Products (GDP) Per Capita will result in families with to receive a low income and might not be able to purchase things that are necessary for them. Often, when parents have an extremely low income out of their jobs, their children will be imposed to go to work to help them increase their parent's income in order to fulfil their essential daily needs. However, if the government on those countries are able to increase their jobs opportunities, the country will have a higher living standard and everyone will have a higher income. Therefore, Child Labour is a serious issue that is happening today and we need to stop them before they will start ruining more and more children’s childhood.
Reason# 1
Child Labour is an important issue since it is dealing with children that have their rights taken away from them by other people to be able to work and make money instead of going to school and having fun in their childhood. First of all, Child Labour breaks the United Nations (UN) Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on article 1, Right to equality(source).People in this world are born free and all of them have equal essential rights in their life such as be able to have shelter, food, or education. When people took away a person’s rights for their own benefits, it would be unfair for the person since their rights are being taken from them. Child Labour breaks the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights article 1, since the kids doesn’t have equal rights compared to other kids around the world.
